What is Battle Wrath? (directly from the Battle Wrath web page)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Battle Wrath is a personal combat game that makes use of the
power of today's home computers. In Battle Wrath, you assume the
role of a great warrior from history, the future,
science-fiction, fantasy, mythology, or the demented mind of
one of our animators. In your new role, you attempt to become
the Ruler of the Battlelords. To accomplish your task you will
need to defeat the top nine contenders for the crown and then
unseat the current Ruler. Unlike other games, however, the list
of contenders is constantly changing as challengers move up in
the ranks or are defeated and demoted. Battle Wrath is a game of
unending challenges as you must defeat the tougher opponents and
also guard against new comers seeking to upset you !!!

Questions
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Q: How do I change the game from computer vs. computer play?
A: In the Battle Menu, clicking on either the "P1" (player 1) or
"P2" (player 2) button allows you to create a new player or
select a pre-existing one. The first option in the list of
players is "Create a new Player". Click on that option and type
in your name. You are now ready to control the warrior. In
future games, your name will appear alphabetically in the list
of players.
Q: When I push towards the other warrior and press a punch key,
I sometimes get a left arm attack and sometimes I get a right
arm attack. Why?
A: In Battle Wrath, warriors can have their arms severed.
Because of this, left arm attacks are always performed by
pushing the controller to the left and pressing the punch key.
Right arm attacks are performed by moving the controller to the
right and pressing the punch key. Should you lose an arm, you
know that moving the controller in that direction and pushing
the punch key is useless. Kicks follow the same logic, but since
a warrior can not lose his/her legs, they are always available.
Q: How do I change the selected warriors?
A: In the Battle Menu, clicking on either the "W1" (warrior 1)
or "W2" (warrior 2) button allows you to select a different
warrior to control.
Q: Can I bypass the title screen that shows the Battle Wrath
logo?
A: Yes, press any key or click the mouse button when the Battle
Wrath logo appears and the swords will "snap" into place and the
screen will fade immediately.
Q: I can not get Razor to perform one of his special moves.
A: Each warrior has one special move that is only available when
controlled by a player that is currently ranked as The Ruler.
This move is typically of great power and gives the Ruler a
special advantage over the competitors.
Q: Can I exit a fight once it has begun?
A: No. Fights can be paused by pressing the "P" key. However,
once a fight has been started, it must be finished.
Q: What does the "(AI: #)" stand for behind the names of the
computer players?
A: AI=Artificial Intelligence. The number represents the
computer players's artificial intelligence level. The higher the
number (0-9), the smarter, faster, and tougher the computer
opponent.
Q: I won a fight and was promoted. What does that mean?
A: As you win fights you gain experience points. At certain
point levels, you will be promoted. As level of ability
increases, a player will do more damage when hitting and take
less damage when hit.
Q: What is a sanctioned fight?
A: Whenever two players that are adjacent to each other in the
contender rankings fight, it is a sanctioned fight. The winner
of the bout takes the higher position, the loser gets the lower
rank. Fights between players that are not adjacently ranked
still count towards experience points (and promotions), however,
they do not affect a players ranking in the contender list.
Q: When I play Chronos, I can summon his familiar but then can
not cast any of his other projectiles. Why?
A: Chronos' familiar is considered a projectile by the game -
and the game only allows a single projectile from each warrior
at any one time. Therefore, while the familiar is on the screen,
Chronos can not cast another projectile.
Q: Who is tougher, Chronos or Razor?
A: Depends on your strategy. Razor has more distance attacks,
however, he is weaker in close. Chronos can take a lot of
damage, but can not strike easily at a distance. It is up to you
to figure out what works best for each warrior.
Q: Where can I get more warriors?
A: Direct from Cerebral Gaming Systems. Check the on-line
catalog (the icon is in the main menu as an open red book). It
lists available warriors, fan club information, and information
about the web site. The web site contains warrior images,
animations and information. When you are done looking, print the
file, ORDERFRM.TXT, fill it in and write, fax or call:
